Mykonos travel app

The Mykonos, Greece mobile travel app aids tourists in creating a budget friendly trip through a process of choosing to save or splurge. This project was created in Figma, so all of the icons are fully functional, and the app can be used to create an itinerary while keeping the user’s budget in mind.

For the design elements of this project I wanted to include colors, fonts, and imagery that would make one of the more stressful parts of planning a trip into a fun experience. Mykonos has beautiful blue and white buildings throughout the island that are the stars of many tourists’ photos. Also, there are large bushes with pink flowers that flow down the walls and walkways of much of Mykonos, so I decided to incorporate both of these colors into the app to help transport the user. Also, planning a trip on a budget can be boring, so the design is fresh and interesting to make sure the experience feels inspiring.

The Mykonos travel app lets tourists view the best dining, housing, and activities to enjoy during their stay, regardless of their budget. The design of the app allows for a seamless planning process while providing an enjoyable visual aesthetic.
